#Kandinsky – Concerning the #spiritual in #art

Just found out that some truth are universal and can be shared with everyone about everything. Even a thought just about work of art, it fits any other aspect of life like family and even business.
Here is one from Kandinsky: as usual, the artist can use his inner sense as a shortcut to achieve what scientist and philosophers take years to reach.

#German “Crash Kurs” 1 Week @Radolfzell

Back home in Ostschweiz… It’s been a really intensive week in Radolfzell (Baden-Wüttenberg, Germany). Lessons, knew new people, time running…. Report: the teachers of the Carl Duisburg Center (CDC) have been good; I didn’t expect to master German in 1 week, but to correct something… Now I know where I am and what I need to improve in order to go further…
I also got chance to meet with new people… New Zealand, Russia, Turkey, Korea, India… Thanks to everyone.
Here are some photographic picture of the places around.

German study or Italian eating? @”Il pomodorino” #Radolfzell am Bodensee

Well, I am in Radolfzell on the Bodensee Lake to improve my German.
We are in Germany, not far from Switzerland border… Thus the restaurants are nearly all Italians… Then I found one restaurant run by people of Calabria region… which is the one where my family come from… In the end, instead of studying, I am eating… Nochmal (again).

#Shoa Memorial Day 2014 – Primo #Levi – If this is a man

Memorial day 2014

Primo Levi
“If this is a man”

You who live safe
In your warm houses,
You who find, returning in the evening,
Hot food and friendly faces:
Consider if this is a man
Who works in the mud
Who does not know peace
Who fights for a scrap of bread
Who dies because of a yes or a no.
Consider if this is a woman,
Without hair and without name
With no more strength to remember,
Her eyes empty and her womb cold
Like a frog in winter.
Meditate that this came about:
I commend these words to you.
Carve them in your hearts
At home, in the street,
Going to bed, rising;
Repeat them to your children,
Or may your house fall apart,
May illness impede you,
May your children turn their faces from you.

Sunday at #Chur (#Coira) – The oldest town in #Switzerland

Due to a unnatural nice whether, we decided to take a drive nearby to the Swiss Alps, in Chur.

From Wikipedia

Chur or Coire (pronounced [ˈkuːr] in Graubünden and outside of Switzerland but [ˈxuːr] in other cantons of Switzerland; Alemannic German: Khûr; Romansh: Cuira [ˈkwerɐ] or [ˈkwoi̯rɐ]; Italian: Coira [ˈkɔi̯ɾa]; French: Coire [ˈkwaʁ]; Latin: CVRIA, CVRIA RHAETORVM and CVRIA RAETORVM) is the capital of the Swiss canton of Graubünden and lies in the northern part of the canton. Chur is situated at the right shore of the Rhine-River and is known as the oldest town of Switzerland.
Archaeological evidence of settlement at the site, in the Eastern Alps, goes back as far as the Pfyn culture[3] (3900-3500 BC),[4] making Chur one of the oldest settlements in Switzerland. Remains and objects from the Bronze and Iron Ages have been found also in the eastern sector of the current city’s centre.

We find also a very interesting restaurant where to taste the regional specialities like The Capuns (sausages wrapped in beet leafs) and the Bizochels (noodles with herbs and cheese).
