Just prepared an easy starter… “Prosciutto e melone”; melon&ham.
Tonight it was time to praise myself with something warm.. Swiss Spätzli cooked with butter, ham and zucchini. Plus a spoon of piedmont wine (home production – my cousin).
And here it is
evening out of office, just the time for a quick visit to the local grocery store and then it was too late to prepare for a “serious” dinner. Luckily we still got some ham, eggs, parsley and cheese in our refrigerator. Just enough for a quick omelette.
Even better with a Spnish Rioja wine reserva 2006.
It started out as “today I want just to drink only an Espresso coffe”.
It ended up with boiled egg (bought yesterday from a local farmer), swiss bread and Italy Slow Food Ham “Capicollo” bought in Calabria region last summer.
I guess we are going to skip lunch…
Last Saturday @Konstanz… Beside 1 hour to find a park place… We found a very good food shop with goods imported from all over Europe… Same place it is possible to eat. Ok I have to admit it: best italian meal outside Italy so far. The place: Maximilian’s on the Hussenstrasse.
